Mary Eddy
Mary attended Cal Poly in the 1980s, majoring in journalism. After Cal Poly, Mary switched gears and concentrated on a nursing career. She earned a master’s degree in nursing leadership from the University of Southern California, leading to a long career in the medical industry. The journalism skills she gained at Cal Poly served her well in her consulting role as a legal nurse specialist.
Mary is a lifelong Californian and current resident of Pasadena. She believes passionately in the value of a quality education for young people. Her niece followed her footsteps by attending Cal Poly and served as ASI president. Mary was active in many community organizations and has served on boards and committees for several educational institutions including the Friends of Cal Tech Libraries, Loyola Jesuit High School of Los Angeles, and Sierra Madre Community Nursery School. Mary enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and reading spy novels.
