Juan Cepeda-Rizo

Dr. Juan Cepeda-Rizo graduated from Cal Poly in 1994 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, and again in 1997 with a M.S. in Materials Engineering. He also earned a doctorate in Applied Mathematics from Claremont Graduate University. Dr. Cepeda-Rizo currently works for NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory as a Lead Systems Engineer. In addition, he serves as an adjunct professor in the mechanical and aerospace department at Cal State Long Beach.

Dr. Cepeda-Rizo and his wife, Gabriela, support Cal Poly in numerous capacities, from recruiting and sponsoring projects through their employers, to their direct support of the Multicultural Engineering Program (MEP).
