Staff Professional Development Grant

Supporting Staff Success and Retention

The Professional Development Grant Program is designed to support access to education and training opportunities for Student Affairs staff.  Student Affair’s commitment to continued professional and personal development aims to: 

• Build upon current competencies
• Increase efficiency in the workplace
• Provide career focus and meaning 
• Build self-confidence and lasting motivation
• Help ensure staff have a fulfilling and rewarding career

Program Criteria

• Student Affairs staff can apply
• One award per staff member, per academic year, up to $250 to join an association or organization of choice and up to $500 to participate in a professional development experience (with a minimum 50 percent provided by employee’s department), may be granted to the individual
• Awards based on fund availability

Submission Process

Complete and submit the online grant application (Adobe Sign). For administrative support, please contact the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs.
